	Radiator Caps are designed to seal the top of the radiator filler neck to prevent coolant loss, pressurise the cooling system and raise the boiling point of the coolant.
	Radiator Caps are manufactured using either metal or plastic design depending on the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
	Tridon offers an extensive range of radiator caps covering both metal and plastic designs suitable for use on sealed recovery or open non recovery vehicle cooling systems.
	In a sealed recovery system the cap (double seal) allows coolant to flow to and from the recovery or expansion tank, maintaining the integrity of the cooling system.
	A non recovery system does not have a recovery or expansion tank; therefore a non recovery cap (single seal) only allows the release of coolant and return of air to the system.
	A non recovery cap cannot be used on a recovery system.
	The radiator cap must be compatible with the vehicle cooling system; the Tridon radiator cap range has been carefully researched and engineered to suit each specific application.

	Oil Caps are designed to cover the orifice used to fill or top up the engine oil supply.
	Oil caps are manufactured using either metal, plastic or rubber design depending on the vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
	Tridon offers an extensive range of oil caps including metal bayonet, plastic screw and rubber push in designs.
	The oil cap should be replaced if lost or damaged due to age, heat or neglect. An indication that a cap requires replacement would be the appearance of oil on the valve cover around the filler neck, indicating the cap can no longer seal the engine correctly.

	Fuel Caps are designed to seal the vehicle fuel system to prevent evaporation and contamination.
	There are two common styles of fuel caps, vented and non-vented.
	Vented fuel caps allow fuel pressure to be released from the fuel system (commonly used on vehicles pre 1985).
	Non-vented fuel caps are designed to maintain the integrity of the fuel system, they do not allow fuel pressure to be released from the system, required with the introduction of emission control regulations (vehicles manufactured post 1985).
	Tridon offers an extensive range of both vented and non-vented fuel caps.
	The Tridon fuel cap range is available in both locking and non-locking styles.
